Right On The National Heroes Day, PTDI Sent One Airplane Order to Thailand

TRIBUNJABAR.ID, BANDUNG - Coinciding with Heroes' Day, PT Dirgantara Indonesia returned to export in the activity of ferry flight 1 (one) NC212i aircraft for the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) of Thailand from the PTDI Hangar Delivery Center, Jalan Pajajaran Bandung, Sunday (11/10/2019).

The aircraft of the nation's children was flown to Nakhon Sawan Air Base, Muang, Nakhon Sawan, Thailand, which will arrive on November 11, 2019.

In a press release received by the West Java Tribune it was stated that the NC212i aircraft sent this time completed the procurement contract for two NC212i aircraft between PTDI and A.I.C.E. Enterprises (Thai) Co., Ltd. with the end user Department of the Rain Making and Agricultural Aviation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) of Thailand.
The first NC212i airplane was carried out by ferry flight on October 22, 2019 and today the second NC212i airplane ferry flight was returned a month earlier, so the schedule is according to the contract, December 2019.

So that a total of 2 NC212i aircraft have been sent to the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) of Thailand.

PTDI's Head of Corporate Planning and Program Management Sub Directorate Iwan Krisnanto reviewed the preparation and release of the NC212i ferry flight which would then be operated by the Department of the Rain Making and Agricultural Aviation, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC), Thailand.

Capt Zulda Hendra as Pilot In Command and Capt Billy Yudha Firmansyah as copilot flew NC212i from Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung to Hang Nadim Airport, Batam, and continued to Nakhon Sawan Air Base, Muang, Nakhon Sawan, Thailand, as the final destination.

The NC212i will make a final acceptance by the Department of the Rain Making and Agricultural Aviation, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) of Thailand, on November 12, 2019.

This NC212i aircraft can be used as passenger transport, VIP, cargo, rain making, troop / paratroop transport, and medical evacuation which can be installed alternately according to the operational needs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative (MOAC) of Thailand.
The NC212i aircraft has been fully worked on by PTDI, meaning that PTDI is the only aircraft industry in the world currently producing NC212i aircraft.

To date, PTDI has managed to deliver 445 aircraft and helicopters, both domestic and foreign.

PTDI has succeeded in producing NC212 aircraft as many as 115 units for domestic and overseas, from a total of 586 units of NC212 series population in the world.

The domestic operators that use the NC212 series aircraft are the Indonesian Air Force, the Army, the Navy, the National Police, BPPT, where the NC212 series aircraft is used for civil, military and Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) aircraft.

While foreign operators are Thailand for military transport and weather modification (rain making), the Philippines and Vietnam for military transport aircraft.
The prospect of the aircraft industry currently has a fairly large market share, especially in commercial aircraft.

The NC212i aircraft needs of the world for the next 10 years that is as many as 255 units. PTDI's future expansion plans are in the Asia Pacific and Africa.
PTDI will increase NC212i's aircraft production capacity which was originally 4 aircraft per year, to 6 aircraft per year, which will begin next year to meet the NC212i's target needs for the next 10 years.

The NC212i is the latest generation multipurpose aircraft from NC212 with a capacity of 28 passengers, has a ramp door, spacious cabin in its class, a more modern navigation and communication system, lower operating costs but remains competitive in the small aircraft market.
